Hi,
I tried to load the S60Dict reader + downloaded freedict-eng-rus-0.2.dic.dz to try out but I just could not find the dict despite trying different paths. Do you have any suggestions how I can get to read this?
I am using a E61i phone.

See the first step at this URL:

Hi,

I wonder, is it possible to make the font customizable?
Presently I see just the standard font, which is

1. Uncomfortably small, and
2. Is pretty poor (WGL4?).

I've installed a richer font (palatino linotype) in my E61, which has
the full IPA character set for the phonetic transcription, the
"extended Greek" subrange etc; I can see it in MobiPocket -- but I
cannot read the transcriptions in my dict data.

Probably that could be done with the rss file; yet I guess that
require some sort of SDK to define and compile the definition of the
font resource?

Hi Mike,

Yes, the dictionaries are one-way translating. That is the limitation of the DICT format. For translating a language both-ways you need to install two dictionaries (one for each direction).

Files on the phone memory has the path C:\data\FOLDERNAME (unless you use special programs, directories/folders C:\ is not visible). The path for the files on the memory card starts with E:\, so the path for your files is E:\dictioneries.

To make it simple, you can just put the program on memory card (install to memory card), and the dictionaries at a folder named "Dict" on your memory card, so you wont have to change the path at all.
