Works a treat on nokia n8, ( =s^3) for recording data sessions, matches (kB reported by phone log) * 1024.

Thanks, having a record in xls format will be handy when arguing with provider over bill accuracy of their bill.

hi,

i create log export for s60 3rd edition application using your source code but when i install it in my E90 and run it, my application gets crashed.

what is the possible reason ?

on my e72 i’m getting a message “unable to execute file for security reasons”

any workarounds for this?

i second the scheduled export with append to an open area of the flash disk memory for use on a computer later on. i often use my cell phone data on the computer and am constantly looking for ways to get as much info from the cell phone into the computer system.

random unrelated question. anyone know how to get .lmx landmark files from nokia memory without going through google or email? i ask only because my bluetooth is acting up lately. just want to know how to get at the files in the memory.

anyhoo, great job, mr. programmer on this app.

just one (for me essential) thing: how can I export more than the last 30 days?
how can I export for example the last year of usage? need it so that I can make a statistic on my own for the usage in one business year.

Subject: Feature Request

Could you please add a feature?

I would like to be able to set a schedule on which the program export the log, appending it to a predefined file.

This is because, it seems the log has either maximum record number of 1000 or 30 days (whichever comes first) to maintain the OS performance.

So I prefer to have a big passive log file on my memory card to preserve the data and leave the OS log file free running the way it is tuned for performance, and don’t be always worried about losing log data if i do not do an export on time.

man, i agree. it’s great of you to develop these apps and give them away for free. i respect your technical expertise. it’s really a shame that the companies don’t think of these things themselves. i imagine if they spent a fraction of the money they spend developing their useless apps on guys like you we’d have full versions of these functions readily available.
