Y-Browser

screenshot0031-small.jpgThis is one of the best file browser for Symbian Series 60. Almost every feature that are possible without requiring Symbian signing has been implemented in this program. One of the features that I like is the file search, which can be used to find files with certain properties.

Bantumi GL

bantumi5.pngIn Indonesia we know a game called Congklak which has the exact same rules with Bantumi. This version of Bantumi uses Open GL to display its graphic, in semi 3-D fashion. This version of Bantumi can be used to play against the computer, or against other player through the bluetooth connection. There is no screen shot

Bantumi GL, and some other freeware by Martin Storsjö can be downloaded from http://www.martin.st/software.

Dictionary

screenshot0026-small.jpgIf you need a free English definition dictionary (English to English), then this program is for you. This program is quite big, so you should put it on your memory card. This program does not have suggestion facility, so if you mistype anything it wont suggest any word close to the word you are typing.

This program was written by Simon Judge. You can download this program from: http://www.simonjudge.com

cCalc

screenshot0028-small.jpgThis is an advanced Calculator for Symbian Series 60. This program is not easy to use, but sometimes when you need to do an advanced calculation, this program might come in handy. The most interesting feature is that it has programmable formula to prevent repeated key presses.

Nokia E61/E62 users should download the pro version (cCalcPro). With the pro version, you can use all the keys on the QWERY keypad to access all of the functionalities easily.

Calcium

screenshot0027-small.jpgIf you do a lot of small calculations using your phone, Calcium can make you do it faster. This is not meant to be an advanced calculator, but to be an easier to use calculator. You will need less keypress compared with the standard calculator for doing most calculation. The standard calculator has more features such as scrolling, and percentage calculation.

If you use Nokia E61/E62, you should download the special version for it, otherwise you must hold the blue key while pressing a number (which makes it hard to use, defeating the purpose of the program).

Calcium was developed by Trent Fitzgibbon and Michael Ahokas, and you can download it fom http://mtvoid.com.
